autoLOTO was founded because of the great need to update and improve the lock out/tag out processes currently used in today’s large and dynamic operational environments.
These incredibly complex and redundant electrical one-line drawings make it difficult for even the most experienced electricians in the field to identify all sources of energy and their isolation points needed to protect themselves from potential harm.
Daily frustrations with cork boards and electrical one-line drawings thumb-tacked to them, tracking LOTO positions with push pins and paper tags, 3 ring binder logbooks and redundant lock boxes, were just several examples of inefficiencies and human error generating systems.
After witnessing multiple near miss hazardous energy incidents and reading about or being briefed on countless arc flash events and LOTO failures that resulted in injury or death, we knew there had to be a better way to protect their friends, co-workers, equipment, and clients.
autoLOTO was borne out of their sincere desire to improve upon an antiquated system, ripe with human error and inefficiencies, and provide a streamlined technology-based solution that not only protects the end user but makes him more efficient and accountable.
Graduate of the United States Naval Academy, US Navy Veteran, 6 years of Capital Construction Project Management, Cx and Quality Assurance and Control Experience.
Nearly 2 decades of operational and management experience gained through government service. Expert in leading small and large teams on national priority level projects.
